For the past week, JL Racing has been transitioning our manufacturing to make much needed reusable masks, gowns and other PPE products. We have the capacity and on-hand materials to build 1 Million masks in very short order for the #millionmaskchallenge.

We are working around the clock to meet this new challenge, but we need connections to state and federal governments to get the product into the right hands. Sadly, there has been a lot of terrible price gauging in the market. Our goal is to sell these products without any large markups, but simply to keep our JL family working during this difficult time and to be able to provide something valuable for our community. We are also donating as much material and labor as possible to support this effort.

Our “Big Ask” is to let us know if you have connections to anyone on a government level, at hospitals, or essential operations that are looking to purchase these items in bulk. Our team has the capability to make 1 Million masks in short order (30-50K/day), or 100,000 gowns (5-10K per day).

Our Face Masks: Are not N95 grade.  However, we do make washable, reusable face-masks that not only provide a safety barrier on their own but also allow for an insert of a variety of filters. These masks could also be used to increase the overall lifespan of an N95 mask or surgical mask. We are unable to guarantee any medical-grade standards, however, we have followed and exceeded all CDC guidelines and our materials meet the ideal specs for fabric masks being requested.

Our Gowns: We make reusable gowns with hydrophobic or poly-blend fabrics, matching the requests by the CDC and others.

From everyone at JL, we thank you in advance for any connections and advice you are able to provide. We are working hard to make you proud!

Thanks for doing this. Would you be able to tell me the price of gown and mask? I wanted to bulk order.

Would you consider selling smaller amounts to individuals? Thanks!

NY Governor Cuomo just announced New York need for PPE. The State of NY is willing to pay a premium for the supplies and will help pay the cost to convert your manufacturing.

I suggested this to you last week. You are ahead of me.
Nancy Pelosi irepresents San Francisco in Congress, is the Speaker of the House , third in line for Presidential succession and THE MOST POWERFUL FEMALE POLITICIAN/WOMAN IN THE US.
JL is a woman-owned company.
CALL Pelosi’s office in and speak to a person, no mesages, and tell them what JL can do.

I’m very interested in the face masks and head covers for hospital use. I work in ER and depending how much they are, I’d buy them for my co-workers, and family. A suggestion for packaging…offer them a dozen assorted prints. The hospital scrubs are sometimes dull and a splash of color would be fun!

Hi,

NYC is in dire need of PPE. If you haven’t yet done so, please fill out their procurement form: https://www.governor.ny.gov/content/procurement-form. I don’t have any connections there, unfortunately.

Best wishes,

Leonti

I am coordinating collecting PPE for the first responders in our small town of 5k, Seward, Alaska, home of Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club. We would be very interested in gowns. I will try to forward your information to our borough (think county emergency management folks). How do I place an order for 100?

Here’s the form that NYC is using to get suppliers to sign up. Then you start working directly with the city. https://na3.docusign.net/Member/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=d0eb86dc-8cb3-4f7b-a1cf-5e03670d2dd9&env=na3-eu1&acct=36b48e71-c0ef-4b87-b01a-f9aedfbdc0f5
